15 n060sr
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello! I ran into a malfunction on my HP 15 n060sr laptop. It turns off every 30 minutes. I found many similar cases on the Internet and advised to update the BIOS. There are 3 BIOS versions on the official support page, but none of them have a .bin file for the motherboard ID 2166. If anyone has firmware - please share, I will be glad to all the advice. Thank you in advance!

@Ingwar,

If you have F.72 BIOS on the computer, then that is the latest BIOS available for your computer and if you have changed the hard drive yes it will cause issues to install the BIOS.

Good day! I downloaded the BIOS from your link, but it is not installed using the installer. I prepared the media and tried to install according to the instructions: https://support.hp.com/ru-ru/document/c01736634 But, I ran into a problem. In the case of my laptop, "System Board ID: 2166" is displayed in the instructions for updating it is indicated, you must select a bin file identical to the System ID name, there are files on the media: 021DD, 02161,02165,02183. Which of these files to choose? Thank you in advance!

Please share the product number for your computer so that I can double check that and send you the correct link to download the BIOS.

Installed BIOS version F.72. I downloaded the BIOS from your link, the installation item is inactive. No manipulation of the replacement components was carried out, the case was not opened. All driver updates were installed through the proprietary utility HP Support Assistant.

The laptop was bought second-hand. Unintentionally misled you, probably, the previous owner replaced the hard drive, because the Samsung SSD EVO 860 EVO 250GB drive is displayed in the device manager. Can this be the problem?
