Hello,

This package provides a BIOS system update the version F.30 under the HP SoftPaq sp101098 is not designed/compatible for your computer.
It is compatible/designed with the following HP notebooks: HP 250 G4 Notebook PC, HP 256 G4 Notebook PC. Moreover,  So I recommend you to ignore this BIOS update.

In order to palliate the issue of overheating, please follow the instructions of the HP link Reducing Heat Inside the Laptop to Prevent Overheating.

Hi

As Mans has stated you have a problem and suggested a solution.

Can you give the SKU: of your PC as it is vital to find the correct BIOS.

SKU: if possible by this method
WinKey + R and type
msinfo32
Read Line 9
System SKU: N6K07EA#ABU

Please do not post Serial Numbers.

So that we can check the version?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the BIOS of the 15-ac123tx laptop is already up to date, so there is no need to update it.
The currently installed BIOS version is F.29, so it is the one proposed by HP below.

I am asking how to downgrade the bios. And you are suggesting to reduce heat.

Please read carefully. My problem is while doing bios rollback got error that unable to open signature file.

Thanks for your return,

Unfortunately, once the F.29 or F.30 update is installed you cannot revert to an earlier version of the BIOS. There is no other update than the one proposed on your computer's page.

Please update the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI interface from the HP link below.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101501-102000/sp101502.exe

In order to help you, please follow the instructions in the "Update the BIOS manually from a USB Flash drive (outside of Windows)" section of the following HP link: Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System).

The BIOS update is available below.
