hi can anyone tell me if HP Pavilion x360 - 15-dq1018na has a back light or not i have been looking all over and cant find a definitive answer.

Are you talking about the keyboard ? Its specs

 

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06518654

 

which says nothing about its keyboard. Please check the top 2 rows on keyboard, does it have backlit keyboard symbol on one key (normally f5)

If NO, then your machine does not have backlit keyboard. If YES, please use that key to turn ON/OFF
