Hello Guys, 

 

I know this has been asked and answered many times overt the past few years ,

I am using a 2016   OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 15-ax048tx. 

i would like to change the back light on the keyboard.  i can turn it on and off with F5.

 

I have tried updating Bios and software and omen control . but nothing works .

 

is my model in compatible? or am i doing it all wrong ?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To adjust the brightness of the backlight, press the key with the backlight icon  two or three times in a row. The keyboard backlight dims and brightens. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time to activate the backlight key.
