Hello,
I have recently updated the BIOS to a version one of the members of the HP support team told me to. I do wanna extend the battery life expectancy so I have set the battery care function to 80%, however, the indicator still charges up to 100%. This did not happen with the previous BIOS version I had, the battery indicator never overpassed the 80% mark. Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thank you very much for your help,

@Glastok Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are facing Battery Care Function issues.
In that case, I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

I browsed over the community messages and I found that another person had the same issue and how the HP workers told him to solve it. I just followed the same steps and it seems to be working properly now.
Thank you for your response!
