I am using google back up and sync but I think there may still be files on there still that are no longer on my old Acer. Found out that if it was deleted on the acer and not in the google back up that it was still there in the back up, Soo, I don't know how to tackle this before I copy from the back up onto my new HP? I really don't want a lot of files that I deleted back again. Any suggestions?

If you are having issues with a Google product, you will have to contact them to find out how to make it work properly for you as we have no access to their product information.
When the question is asked in general about migrating from an old PC to a new PC, my response is that there are commercial products that will migrate the accounts, the settings, the applications, and the personal data. But these products cost money and you have to use them as designed. I can provide info on them, if you want.
If all you are doing is transferring personal data, a simpler way to do this is to buy a large USB stick, copy the files onto it from your old PC, insert it into your new PC, and copy the files there.
