I am trying to install an app that I need for my work. During installation, it can't push through as it is saying I don't have enough privilege and pertains to Biometric Authentication Service. Checked that on services and it is not starting, DpHost not starting. Updated everything but still having the same issue. Even tried to reinstall the OS but still no good. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Thank you for your response. I have solved this issue. I just uninstall the HP Security Manager first and was able to install the application I needed.
The issue I had was not really about fingerprint. It is working properly. Thank you anyway. Really appreciate it. 🙂

Are you running \Win10 Pro? If so, read through this about Enabling Biometrics in Group Policy Editor and see if that fixes it: https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-windows-hello-fingerprint-not-working-in-windows-10/
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
