Hi everyone,
I have an old HP Pavilion G6 2176et laptop. Currently, bios F.26 installed. When I try to update BIOS to F.27, my pc gets stuck on black screen after the update finished. When I clicked restart now button my pc turns off and stuck on black screen after the post screen time. I made a short video, but actually, I waited about 1 hour on this screen.
So, what did I do fix this?
I tried to update bios directly from windows with exe file. (SP77532.exe)
I tried to update bios with Recovery USB Flash Drive. (there is no bios update option under the HP Diagnostics. There are just Memory Test, Hard Drive Check, Language and Exit on diagnostic screen)
I tried all of these steps with default bios settings.
So, please HELP ME!!!!!!!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues updating the BIOS on your computer.
Have you made any hardware changes on the computer?
Are you facing any issue with the computer? (Apart from BIOS update)
While you answer that, I see that the BIOS update you are trying to install on the computer is available for Windows 8 operating system however, the operating system on your computer is Windows 10 and it might be causing the update to fail.
Having said that, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article to install the BIOS update using a flash drive.
