Operation System :- Windows 7 64 Bit

Hello, i Have A Old Laptop And I Want To Update Its Bios Because Recently I Bought 2 GB Ram For This Laptop. But When I Insert That Ram And Turned My Laptop On I Saw Its Only Using 1.48GB Ram Out Of 4 GB. Then I Found A Solution But I Can't Find Bios Update Driver For My Laptop From HP Because It Removed The Drivers. Is There Other Ways To Fix This Or Can You Provide Me The Driver. Please.

Thank You

Diego

Hi, Diego:

You would have to provide the full model number or product number of your notebook and the BIOS update version it currently has installed.

Run 'msconfig', go to 'boot' tab, click on 'advanced options', and untick 'maximum memory,' if the box is checked.

After the restart, it should show the correct amount of usable memory.

If the box is not checked, unfortunately I don't know what you can do to increase the usable memory amount.

It Was Already Untick.
