Hi @Siddu12,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that your HP 240 G3 laptop is not displaying Bluetooth device names.

Let's first check whether Bluetooth is enabled and whether Windows is detecting the Bluetooth adapter.

1. Check Bluetooth settings.

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Bluetooth & devices.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  4. Make sure the device you are trying to connect is switched on, discoverable, and within range.

2. Check the Bluetooth adapter.

  1. Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Bluetooth.
  3. Check whether the Bluetooth adapter is listed or has a yellow warning icon.
  4. Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.

3. Check the Bluetooth Support Service

  1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Find Bluetooth Support Service.
  3. Right-click it and select Restart.
  4. Open its Properties and set Startup type to Automatic, if available.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Kuroi_Kenshi
