Same thing just happen to a customer I now have. HP Pavillion 23 All in one, 61% cpu .98gz nothing more. Keep in mind after 5-10 min it just turned off. Finally I downloaded "coretemp" to fine out the temp for fun. 212 degrees farenheit it stayed there. Turned it off, opened her up a pressed the power button, cpu fan dead. 17$ part. I left the back off and instantly using 100 of the cpu and dropped to 130 farenheit. Hope this helps, this person just needed a cpu fan. Good old amazon.
