When I turn on the built-in camera, it returns an error that the camera is blocked or covered. However, I do not have a physical shutter or slider, nor is there a camera button on the device (HP Laptop 17-cp3005dx (A9FY8UA)). When I first got the laptop (March 2025), the camera worked just fine. I did use Phone Link for a while and it would make me select between the phone camera and the webcam, but it still functioned. Then in approximately September 2025, this error began. Camera and System Settings state that the Drivers are up to date and working properly.

Disregard. There is a shutter that you have to use a fingernail to slide.

I found it.
