The camera is working on the camera app. However, when trying to use the Windows Hello Facial Recognition to sign in or to set up a new face the camera does not load. I have now removed my face and I am trying to set it up again, I go to settings, and press set up, I then press Get started and enter my pin, the app then comes up with the error message "Somethings gone wrong. Couldn't turn on the camera, make sure its working properly".

The steps I have taken to resolve,

Updating Camera drivers

Allowing camera access for all apps in privacy settings

Checked for windows updates

Ran trouble-shooter for camera

Ran a repair and reset within settings

Restarted computer

All systems are up to date along with camera drivers. I have reached out to Microsoft and they have tried to troubleshoot as much as they can however the camera is still not working for windows hello.

When you do not identify your HP desktop or laptop PC,  you tie our hands behind our backs. Help us to help you.

When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue

Type in msinfo32 and press enter.

The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.

The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.

If you can't log into Windows, look on the bottom of your notebook for that information.
