HP EliteBook 850 G2 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

Hi,

I want to upgrade my TPM chip but I'm unsure if I can upgrade from TPM 1.2 to 2.0.

Any help appreciated.

Hi, @Lee192

If you are wanting to know that for upgrading to W11, also note that your notebook's processor does not meet the W11 hardware requirements, even if your notebook came with a TPM 2.0 security chip.

If you are interested in upgrading your notebook to W11 as is, see this discussion for how I upgraded several unsupported HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's to W11 22H2:

The closest model to yours that I upgraded was an HP 350 G1 with an Intel 4th gen core processor and no TPM chip at all.
