i have hp pavilion dm4 notebook.  when i was trying to connect bluetooth earbuds in my laptop, i came to know that my laptops action center dont show  bluetooth options and when i try to add earbuds through settings > bluetooth and other devices >add other devices then it dont show my earbuds. so does my model support it or not? your help will be appreciated.

Hi:

 

Your notebook did not come with built in Bluetooth networking according to the product specifications.

 

HP Pavilion dm4-2180us specifications (gadgetaz.com)

 

The parts list for your notebook confirms that info because the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 802.11 b/g/n (1x2) WLAN module is not a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents any other model Wi-Fi card from working other than the one that came with your notebook, your only option for Bluetooth would be to purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter that has support for W10.
