The specficiation is:

External ports
2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 USB 2.0; 1 HDMI; 1 RJ-45; 1 headphone/microphone combo

(1) Please buy this nice USB-to-SATA adapter

https://www.amazon.com/ORICO-USB3-0-External-Enclosure-Supported/dp/B01M08LCXW

( Orico is very reliable )

(2) You can insert your old <mechanical hard drive>

(3) Connect <orico adapter> to your computer ( usb 3/3.1 socket ! )

(4) Start to copy needed files to your new operating systems

(5) You're done

Can not update Windows 10 from Ver 1909. Been trying for years, Have tried everything that I can find on the internet. No Luck

My first answer was the solution. The old Windows 10 version 1909 operating system could not be upgraded, so a new installation was required, which was done using prepared <USB flash drive>. Some configurations (BIOS and windows setup) had to be changed and finally we reached our goal.

Good luck
