Can't delete Multiple Google DOCS info wrong on WEB

This does NOT work on the HP Chromebook for Google Docs.  I need to deleted dozens of files and I can only do one by one.  Please HELP.  THANKS!

Chrome OS does not work like Windows therefore you have to do different ways

On the second link, which I click on the link about delete files and the web page it goes to has nothing to do with deleting files.

I looked at the first link and did not find it helpful either.  

Could you please simple cut and paste the appropriate steps to delete files from Docs and Spreadsheets?

Delete a file

1. In the corner of your screen, select the Launcher   Up arrow .
2. Open Files .
3. Select the file or folder you want to delete. Note: You can delete files in the Downloads folder, but deleting a file from your Downloads folder is permanent.
4. Select Delete   Delete.

You can do this with google docs, If you have installed on your pc just control+A and delete all, all files will be deleted.

Do you realize it says how to delete a file not "files?"  I want to delete dozens of file was the question.  I can delete one at a time.

The ONLY way I find it allows multiple is from the launcher and then it should say one click and then SHIFT at the last file you want to delete in that sequence.  But, that was missing in the instruction on the link.  Hopefully this helps someone else who wants to clear space.  Google has informed that they will charge for space consumption at a certain level, so time to clean house.

I noticed it would do multiple from download but this does not allow access to ALL the files and folders on the chromebook.  So where are they and how can I delete them?

IF HP can re-open.  I should NOT have clicked solved.

Going thru the download will not give full access to files/folders in Docs or sheets.

I may be sitting here for 20 years if no one helps deleting one by one.  It is crazy.
