HP655
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP655(E2 AMD) laptop has been upgraded to Windows 10 , but the basic windows display driver won't allow a connection to a projector. I've tried to go on the the HP website to dowload the driver, but the website doesn't seem to work, can't even bring up the product. Any suggestion on how to acess the driver needed?

Hi:

I can get to the support site but I can't access the drivers.

But there is no W10 graphics driver from HP for your model.

Your model has the E2 processor with the Radeon HD7340 graphics, correct?

Please follow the guidance from AMD for how to get the graphics driver to install.

Specifically, what I would do would be to:  connect to the internet.  Go to the device manager, click to expand the display adapters device manager category.  Click on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver, and select the automatic search.

After a few minutes, Windows Update should find, download and install the graphics driver.
