I am trying to load System Mechanic on my machine and it loads but when I let the app write it goes into la-la land. The iolo tech asked me to run the System Information window to create a file of what I have on the machine. When I bring up that tool, it has a message saying "Can't Collect Information" and it further says "Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management files may be moved or missing."
This is a brand new computer that I am trying to get ready to use.

I'm just guessing here - I would not load that software on my system if paid to do so.
Personal opinion...
Your Security software is perhaps blocking the application in an attempt to protect you.
Most security software can be forced to step aside - add the application to an allowed list, for example.
