HP Notebook - 15-db1000nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This laptop has athlon 300u cpu together with vega 3 and also has radeon 530 2gb as secondary gpu. Recently i upgrade the single 4gb ram stick and started to use 2x4 gb ddr4 2400mhz. After the upgrade, system increased the video memory of vega 3 to 2gb and and showed only 5.9 gb ram as usable. I want to reduce the memory dedicated for vega 3 but there is no option on the bios for it. Is there any way to reduce this or am i stuck with 5.9gb?

That is a known issue which is related to AMD processors. Please check the following article:.

Thanks for your answer. Its a shame that there is no information about this in the selling and advertising process. If I knew I wouldn't have preferred this laptop.
