HP OMEN 15 Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, I have a bit of a problem here. I already tried googling for an answer but came up empty handed. Basically, I had some problems with the old OMEN command center, so I tried installing OMEN gaming hub instead. Now, when I go to the section dedicated to my laptop, it tells me that it needs to update some drivers. So I let it do that and then, understandably, it says it needs to restart for the changes to take effect. Only problem is, that when I restart my laptop, it acts like nothing changed; It just says that I have to update some drivers like before. I've gone through this loop a couple of times now and I'm starting to get a little tired. And all because I wanted to check if I could increase my fan speed. Some help will appreciated.

Also, does anyone know how to disable that annoying alarm the app uses for notifications? It gives me the urge to punch a child.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • What is the exact product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Keep me posted for further assistance.
