Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (771S5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

So far:
I tried turning off keyboard toggle on keys from accessibility settings in Control Panel.
Tried turning off unnecessary animations.
Tried turning on the notifications for keyboard inputs to OFF.
Tried messing with settings -> accessibility -> keyboard.
Couldn't find the folder for hotkeys in Windows button + R either.
How do I turn this transparent caps lock notification on screen off, forever, it's bugging me

Hi @ANANISİKEYİM,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're dealing with an annoying caps lock notification on your Victus by HP 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop. Here are a few more steps you can try to disable it.

Update Keyboard Drivers: Make sure your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to Device Manager, finding the keyboard section, right-clicking on your keyboard device, and selecting "Update driver."

HP Hotkey Support: Check if there's any HP Hotkey Support software installed on your laptop. Sometimes, these utilities come pre-installed and manage keyboard-related functions. If you find such software, look for settings related to notifications and disable them.

BIOS Settings: Sometimes, BIOS settings offer options to customize keyboard functions. Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS settings by pressing the appropriate key (usually Del or F2) during startup. Look for any keyboard-related settings and see if there's an option to disable caps lock notifications.

Registry Edit: This method is more advanced and should be approached with caution. You can try editing the Windows registry to disable the caps lock notification. Open the Registry Editor by pressing Win + R, typing "regedit," and pressing Enter. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Hewlett-Packard\HP HotKey Support

If the "HP HotKey Support" key doesn't exist, you may need to create it. Then, create a DWORD value named "OnScreenDisplay" and set its value to 0.

Before making any changes to the registry or system settings, it's a good idea to create a restore point or backup your system in case anything goes wrong.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
