I have HP ProBook 640 G1, I had been using Windows 8.1 before it got updated to Windows 10 by itself by windows update. After that my Card Reader stopped to work and I have tried everything from Drivers to updates but nothing seems to work for me, can anyone tell me how to get my card reader to working again?

Hi:

That seems like a pretty old driver on your notebook's support page.

The driver date is before W10 was released to market in 2015.

Try the one directly from Realtek at the link below...download, unzip and run the setup application from the first driver listed.

The below driver is from 2018--after W10 was released to market.

Card Reader Solutions > Card Reader Controllers Software - REALTEK
