Evening all. Daughter has recently purchased the Pavilion 2 in 1 dy0524sa. I just wanted to check if charging is available using the usb c port as she doesnt want to lug the charger around with her all the time. I have a non hp laptop myself and charge it with an anker 65w plug attached to a 100w pd lead. Is this kind of setup ok to use for her Pavilion ?
Any help much appreciated. Thanks
Tom

According to the specifications listed on the HP website, the HP Pavilion x360 dy0524sa supports charging through the USB-C port. However, it's important to note that not all USB-C chargers will work with all devices, and using an unsupported charger can potentially damage the laptop or cause other issues. To ensure that your daughter can safely charge her laptop using a USB-C charger, I would recommend using an HP-branded USB-C charger that is compatible with her laptop. You can find a list of compatible chargers on the HP website or by contacting HP customer support. If you prefer to use a third-party charger, make sure it meets the following specifications: Output power: 45W or higher Output voltage: 5V or 9V or 15V or 20V Output current: 3A or higher Also, be sure to use a USB-C cable that is compatible with the charger and the laptop, and make sure the cable is rated for the appropriate voltage and current. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
