Hi Everyone, please inform me the driver motherboard for Compaq Presario CQ40-530TU Notebook PC which is compatible with Windows 7 - 32 bit. In HP Website, I only found the driver for Windows Vista (32-64 bit). I really need your help all.

I think most, if not all, of the Vista drivers will work on Windows 7. Actually, when I upgraded a Vista laptop some years ago most of the drivers were included in Windows 7 so you may not need all. Seems like I only needed graphics and wireless driver. How does your Device Manager look?

Thanks for your reply @CherylG. When I installed Windows 7, something unusual happened where my laptop directly integrated with all components in Windows 7. When I look at device manager option in Windows 7, the only one which is not installed properly simply “Base System Device” in the tab of “Other Device”. If you know, what driver option could make it active???.
I’m asking this because when I install the driver Compaq Presario CQ40-530TU Notebook PC for Windows Vista. Directly there is a notification from Windows 7 that told to install the driver which is compatible for Windows 7 not Vista. So far, my laptop is running well, the driver which is not installed properly is simply “Base System Device” in the tab of “Other Device”.
