Looking to buy a stylus rechargeable pen for my laptop HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-ea0000 what should I buy that works my older pens do not work on Microsoft Word.

If you are referring to the HP Pen Control application, this is only used with the HP Pen

No HP Pen = No need for the application.

Pens are nice - that said, lots of people live without them.

There may come a time when pen / stylus use is more - Or less - common on new devices.

"Next new thing" might be something different.
