How do we copy the OEM DVDs to a flash drive? My G3 has no DVD drive

What "OEM DVDS" are you talking about -- the Recovery Disks?

If your question is regarding creating a Recovery USB by copying the contents of the Recovery Disks -- sorry, that can't be done.  The disks reuse the same filenames, and all the copying will do is overwrite the same files over and over.

If what you want is a Recovery USB stick, then you have to order that specifically from HP.

Good Luck

I got four DVDs with my G3, two for Win 10 Pro, OS install and an application and driver recovery. Need to place them on flash drive no DVD drive on G3. Need to repair my OS due to down grad of my Win 10 which seller installed wrong.

See: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-ultra-slim-8x-max-dvd-write-speed-external-usb-dvdrw-cd-rw-drive-blac...

$30 US for "LG - Ultra Slim 8x Max. DVD Write Speed External USB DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive".

Connects to a USB port, so that your computer can read/write CD/DVD media.

Understand ... but the problem is that the DVDs are not designed to be copied to a single storage device, be it a USB stick or an external drive.

The disks reuse the same filenames, and when you copy the files to a single storage device, you either have to create a folder for each disk (which does not work), or you copy the files to the root of the device (which also does not work because it overwrites the files).

The preloaded HP Recovery USB stick does not break up the files into DVD-sized chunks, so it does not suffer from these problems.

Need to repair my OS due to down grad of my Win 10 which seller installed wrong. I can not boot from that disk in win 10 so I need to repair the os Win 10 in the old windows folder under win 7 or I will lose all my software that was installed be for the crash.

Connect the external DVD-device to your computer.

Insert the first of the DVD disks.

Reboot your computer, and tell it to boot from the DVD drive, and start to install Windows 10.

While Windows 7 is running, connect the external DVD-drive, insert the first DVD-disk, and run the 'setup.exe' from that device, to "upgrade" your current Windows 7 system to Windows 10.
