Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This laptop only came with a 32 gig SSD.  It's running out of space, so I deleted some apps.  To my surprise, the remaining hard drive space was reduced rather than increased.

I tried all the usual things - disk cleanup, empty recycle bin, compression, etc.  Also tried to restore the laptop to factory settings, but got a message that there wasn't enough storage to perform that function.

What's going on here?  How is it possible to delete stuff then wind up with less HD space?

Hi,

See HP streams are meant for "Streaming purposes only". The things that you mentioned above are the best resolution for your computer. Now to save the remaining space of your sd. You can turn off windows update. Please check this thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/HP-Stream-running-out-of-space/...
