Thanks for getting back to us.

Try installing the built-in drivers from this document.

Let me know how that goes.

Asmita, sorry for the delay in replying to you but I have been away since your last reply.

To summarise from my message 10, the steps taken so far now show my Network Printer as being connected which is good progress.  However, I am still seeing the rogue driver which I can't remove when I run printui.exe.  In addition, I continue to get the Firmware driver error message in the Devices list and this also appears as a problem in the Windows Defender Security Centre (which WIndows Troubleshooter reports it is unable to fix).

I can't help thinking that getting rid of this rogue driver (HP Color Laserjet CP5520 Series PCL 6) would be a good next step.  Is there really no way to achieve this?

I feel slightly concerned about your suggestion in message 11 to run the "built in drivers" as these are described as only supporting basic printer functionality and I would not want to lose any of the printer's normal functions.  Please advise.

Thanks again in advance.
