Hi

I've tried several times to install various games from EA sports: Tiger Woods 7 and Need For Speed 19.

When I try to play I get a message preventing me from opening the program:

DirectX says I don't have enough video memory.

 

This seems strange considering the newness of this machine.

 

I've tried to detect which DirectX version is installed. I can't even find out how much video memory I have. It's nowhere in the System settings. I'm sure there's a place where it is listed, finding these types of information was SO much simpler in Windows 98 and 2000.

 

Any advice, tips, jokes?

 

Either I'm being impatient with my unsuccessful attempts or am simply not understanding what is wrong.

The specs of your machine is

It has Integrated AMD Radeon™ R5 Graphics, that could be the problem. Please try to upgrade  8 GB DDR4-1866 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) to 16GB by adding 8GB more to slot 2 using

 

        https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct14085831   (will run at 1866MHz)

 

This may help

 

Note: Your machine is not designed for games.
