The features on the bottom left of my computer's keyboard are 'powerful 512MB NVIDIA discrete graphics' it says.I did not see the NVIDIA device in the device manager.
I downloaded the NVIDIA driver from the computer's site, but said "hardware was not found."There is only one Intel In drive.Can you help?

Hi:
It appears that someone at the assembly plant slapped a nVidia graphics sticker on your notebook's case where there shouldn't be one.
Some models in the dm3-1000 series do have the nVidia graphics, but yours doesn't.
This can be confirmed by looking at the parts list for your model at the link below.

If you look at the motherboard description...System board (motherboard) SU7300 - With Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (GS45) chipset and the ICH9M-SFF Enhanced Southbridge, this indicates that your notebook only came with the onboard Intel graphics adapter.
