Hi, its a brand new HP Pavilion-14-ce3510sa and I'm trying without success to disable the trackpad when using wireless mouse.
Any help at all?

Your machine uses Elan hardware and software for touch pad. Please use the following guide
Regards.

Hi, I opened your message and tried all the steps. Nothing for trackpad in Mouse tab, Device Settings in Control panel. However, I did find that my trackpad is Synaptics. In the end I opened Registry Editor as advised and went to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software, and opened the Synaptics folder. The only folder which looked promising is SynTP and a file called EmulateMouseButtonSwap which was set to 0. I've changed that to 1. I haven't rebooted yet, so I don't think any values will be loaded. I'll let you know when I reboot. Rgds Ian
