Hi everyone!

I am about to install Windows 10 on HP Pavilion x360 - 11-k001ur and, unfortunately, there are no drivers available on the HP Support website, even for Windows 8.1.

I also wanted to update the BIOS to the latest version, which is also unavailable.

Is it possible to get official drivers and BIOS updates for my model? Or should I find them elsewhere? (provide a link or at least a hint to a site, please)

PS: Yes, I know it is a very old laptop, but it still can be used for some tasks.
PSS: I do not want to rely on Windows Update drivers and BIOS updates, as I had some problems with them in the past with other laptops. So I need official HP drivers.

You're very welcome.

The 11-k001ur and the 11-u001ur are different models, so definitely do not try to install the BIOS update from the 11-u001ur on your 11-k001ur.

You can try the drivers from the HP site which may work on your notebook.

The processors in both notebooks are in the same Braswell family.

Hi:

HP retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

That's why you can't find any drivers for it on the HP support site.

We are currently not allowed to post links to third party driver sites.

However, I don't see anything improper with letting you know that the DriversCollection.com website has the drivers for your notebook.

I use the site all the time and the drivers are legitimate and virus free.

Just do a search for your HP Pavilion x360 - 11-k001ur drivers and include in the search the Driverscollection website name and you should be able to find the drivers HP used to supply.

That is how I found they have drivers for your notebook.

Thank you for the reply!

I have discovered that drivers.eu looks similar to the site you have mentioned, and I have found out all the drivers (and their versions) are the same too. I will definitely take the BIOS updates from there.

But I have also found the 11-u001ur model to be very similar in terms of drivers - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-pavilion-11-u000-x360-convertible-pc/model/12189327?sku=W7R4...

The only difference is that the latter does not have a wired LAN port. But this can be fixed easily by downloading the Realtek drivers from the Realtek's site.

How do you think, should I use the drivers for 11-u001ur (they are newer), or the ones from the external drivers site (exactly for 11-k001ur) would be better?

PS: I will run a test with both driver sets, just wanted to know your opinion.

Of course, the BIOS for 11-k001ur will be taken from drivers.eu.

As for the drivers - as soon as I test the drivers for 11-u001ur, I will post another message.

In the end, just some drivers were used from the 11-u001ur model. I needed to search for updated drivers throughout different models, and only one file was used exactly for the 11-k001ur model - the BIOS update.

I have decided to use only drivers directly available from HPs portal, but still thanks for clarifying a few things!

You're very welcome.

Glad you were able to find drivers that worked from a slightly newer model.
