Hi it took me 10+ attempts to print a 58 page report using HP system, kept getting system failure and then having to reprint. Not happy can you please let me know what to do to sort it as I am getting very frustrated. 🙏

Welcome to the HP User Community.

The source of the problem might be one of resource.

For example, large documents require network resource to send the data to the printer and the printer must be able to handle that large data once the job is started.

Suggestions

Increase the robustness of your network, your device(s) handling the job, including the printer.

Reduce possible interference - stop other activities that might be stealing resources from your print job.

What?  Stop other large jobs, switch off games, reduce the traffic on the network...

and / or

Consider printing your larger documents in "pieces", that is, page range "sets".

Print your document using the Page Range settings in the application.

Break the document into sets of pages that the printer and / or the network can handle without failing / aborting the job.

For example,

Note "Even sized" page sets are more important if printing 2-sided

Print pages in (even sized) Page Range sets.

Open document

Print pages 1-8

Next job,

Open document > Print next several pages - for example 9-18

Repeat - changing the Page Range each time you print.

If your printer is smaller, less robust, a modest model,

OR

If your connection is less robust, less than optimal,

print fewer pages in each job set.

What else?

You could also simply print until the job fails (similar to what you did originally).

Then start again, print starting at the "next" page range to however many pages you think might print - or the end of the document.

Repeat until all the pages are printed.

If you are printing 2-sided / duplex, the disadvantage of this method is obvious: the job might suddenly stop on an 'odd' location.

Example - HP Smart - Mobile - Print - PDF - Transform / Resize > Options
