Microsoft Windows Server 2019

Currently on v5.0.8 and still having this issue.  The workaround to use 'save as' fails as much as using 'ok'.  When it fails the supposed offending content is also deleted/corrupted and must recreate/import the source package or template.  This is infuriating!  I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed since 2020 (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/Failed-to-merge-payload-in-HPDM...), which wasn't really resolved.  I know an update to 5.0.9 is available, but nothing in the release notes say this issue is addressed.

My current server was built from scratch with a clean database after this issue was on the old installation.  The repository is on a data drive and not the system drive.

Please give me a solution that works all the time.

UPDATE:  Updated server to 5.0.9 and deleted all tasks.  Initially worked while recreating tasks.  Began to fail after 'save as' when modifying tasks.  Some of the tasks were imported from backup export before updating server.  Do these need to be recreated with the updated templates as well?
