Hi,
In the last couple of weeks or so i've been noticing that my fans have been more noisy than usual. In the past fans were usually inaudible when the laptop was idle or when I was doing lightwork (browsing the internet etc.). Now this isn't caused by high temps because i recently repasted the cpu and gpu and my idile temps are around 35-45C range.
Also I've noticed that i can't manually set my fan speed in the Omen Gaming Hub. I mean the slider is there and i can adjust it but it just doesn't do anything.
Is anybody having the same issues? How can i lower my fan speed (or possibly turn the fans off) when idle?

Hi @Treeko,
Yeah, I've tried everything mentioned in the above link my fans are clean, my bios is updated, I've repasted my cpu and gpu my temps are around 35-40C and nothing solved the issue.
Other than these I've also tried turning off the Fans Always On option from the bios but that just causes fans to turn off for couple of minutes till cpu reaches 60C then they ramp up again.
I think the problem is with the OMEN Gaming Hub. Because Gaming Hub's manual fan control slider also doesn't work. I've also tried deleting and reinstalling Gaming Hub but that didn't help too.
I've had this laptop for more than 2 years and this issue didn't exist couple of months ago, I assume some update somewhere screwed up the fan curves
Thanks.
