Product: ENVY X360 13-ay0000
Operating System: Linux

I'm trying to get the fingerprint working on my ENVY laptop but it seems like there aren't any drivers for it. The fingerprint reader is a Synaptics UWP WBDI and I would like to know if it's HP or Synaptics making the drivers and if it's HP ask if there are plans on it being made.

Are you sure about this? Ubuntu (ubuntu dot com forward slash certified) has lots of laptops that are claimed to come preinstalled with Ubuntu in some regions. So are you claiming that someone else is doing the preinstalling, not HP?
