My HP Envy x360 Laptop has a memory leak from OmenCommandCenterbackground.exe, which I understand can slow the PC down. How is it fixed?

@WhiteRaven33, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
General Tips to Manage and Optimize Your HP Laptop:
Update Drivers and Software: Ensure all your drivers, especially graphics and chipset drivers, are updated. Use the HP Support Assistant to check for updates.
Remove Unnecessary Startup Programs: Disable programs that start with Windows using Task Manager. This reduces background processes that may consume memory.
Run Windows Update: Make sure Windows is up-to-date for security and performance enhancements.
Check for System File Corruption: Use the Windows System File Checker tool (sfc /scannow in Command Prompt) to check and repair corrupted system files.
Scan for Malware: Use an updated antivirus or Windows Defender to scan your system for any malware that might be affecting performance.
Uninstall Unnecessary Programs: Free up system resources by removing programs you no longer need through the Control Panel.
Optimize Disk Space: Use tools like Disk Cleanup to clear temporary files and free up disk space.
Reset or Reinstall Omen Gaming Hub: Sometimes resetting or reinstalling the Omen Gaming Hub might help if it's causing issues.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
