Hi,

When i load Gmail as the Standard view, when I am composing a message, it autosaves and it reverts back to another screen and saves the message as a draft. Once it does this, it will not allow any pop up windows to appear, it just flashes and reverts back to the previous screen. When I load Gmail as the basic HTML, it is much better, but there is something triggered by the exclamation point. It is all really odd. I am not sure if this is the pc or something with Google/Gmail.

Please help, it is really frustrating! Thank you in advance!

I'm sorry no one has responded to you in all this time -- but it's probably because we have no way to debug or solve issues with third-party (i.e., non-HP) applications or software.

Since this is a Chromebook, my guess is that you are accessing GMail through Chrome -- and that makes it not only a Browser issue, but also a Google issue -- since they are the suppliers of Chrome.

Your best bet would be to do a search for Gmail support forums and see what aid they can provide -- it might simply be a Chrome browser setting.

Good Luck
