Good day, i recently downgraded my HP 255 G6 to windows 7 due to how horrid the performance of windows 10 is on it
im struggling to find the windows 7 drivers for it, any help would be appreciated

Hi:
Here is the list of W7 drivers that should work for your notebook:
Chipset: Select the W7 x64 driver, install and restart the PC.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-9-series-chipsets/990fx
Graphics: Select the W7 driver, install and restart the PC.
Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the Windows 64 bit driver and restart the PC.
Ethernet: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below...
SD card reader: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below...
You should be able to use the W10 touchpad driver from the support page as it should also have the W7 driver files included.

I don't know what model wifi adapter your notebook has, so please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller. Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

Hi:
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that.
The graphics driver link I posted is the only one available for the AMD E2-9000e processor with the Radeon R2 graphics.
HP has no W7 drivers for it.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if anyone on the AMD graphics forum has any suggestions, and if not, I suggest you reinstall W10.
