Hi @Saroj84

If the HID Touchscreen driver is missing on your HP ProBook 445 G11 running Windows 11, here are some steps to help you resolve the issue:

Check Device Manager

  1. Open Device Manager:

    • Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."
  2. Locate HID Devices:

    • Expand the "Human Interface Devices" section to check if the touchscreen is listed.
  3. Check for Unknown Devices:

    • Look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark, often indicating driver issues.

Update Drivers

  1. Windows Update:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Windows Update can sometimes install missing drivers.
  2. HP Support Assistant:

    • Use the HP Support Assistant to detect and install any missing drivers. It is a tool that helps keep your HP device up-to-date with the latest drivers and software. To access it, search for and open the HP Support Assistant from the start menu on your laptop.
  3. Manual Driver Installation:

    • Visit the HP Support website.
    • Enter your model number (ProBook 445 G11) and navigate to the drivers section.
    • Download and install the latest drivers recommended for your device, especially any related to touch functionality or the display.

Enable Touchscreen

  1. Enable Device:
    • In Device Manager, right-click on the HID-compliant touchscreen and select "Enable" if it's disabled.

Troubleshoot Hardware and Devices

  1. Run Troubleshooter:
    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
    • Select "Additional troubleshooters" and run the "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooter.

BIOS/UEFI Settings

  1. Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:
    • Restart your laptop and press F10 during boot to access the BIOS/UEFI menu.
    • Look for settings related to touch input and ensure they are enabled.

Reinstall Windows

If all else fails and the touchscreen is still not functioning, you might consider reinstalling or resetting Windows. Be sure to back up important data before proceeding.

Note: Ensure that your ProBook supports touchscreen input as not all configurations might have a touchscreen despite the presence of options or settings.
