HP 250 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Greetings I just re installed Windows 7 from 10 and I have a bunch of missing drivers. I downloaded the majority of them from the HP website but 3 of them I can’t find. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller, SM Bus Controller and Ethernet Controller.

I downloaded and installed all the drivers from the network list but but none of them worked on the Ethernet Controller. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi:

If your notebook has an Intel Pentium or Celeron processor, you need these drivers...

SMBus Controller.  Install this driver first and restart the PC.

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver for supported notebook models and operating systems. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Windows Device Manager.

USB:

This package provides the Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The driver enables USB 3.0 devices.

Ethernet Controller:

This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

Thank you good sir, I have been struggling with this for two days and you helped me fix it in 5 minutes.

You're very welcome.

I don't know why, but HP doesn't have the right Celeron/Pentium chipset and usb drivers on the 250 G3 support page, so you have to use the ones from the 250 G2.

I don't know why neither of the Realtek ethernet drivers on the 250 G3 support page didn't work though.

One  or both of them should have...sp69612 or sp65599.

I gave you an older one also from the 250 G2, since that is where I had to get the other two you needed.
