7265ngw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP detected my hardware and said that I had an HP - 17-w119tx; however, what is written on the manufacturer sticker under model number is 7265ngw.  And when I google 7265ngw, it asks me to go to the 17-an000 page.

At the w119tx page, I downloaded a lot of drivers.  But I am having the battery issue where my battery is working properly; however, Windows does not understand that I have a battery.  Also, the computer sometimes shuts down for no apparent reason: it just turns off with a click and a high-pitched wind-down sound.  I checked the heat dissipation, and it isn't overheating at the CPU or GPU--not sure about the motherboard, but it looks fine.

My big question:

Anyway, I want to install the BIOS drivers from 2020 if they are available!  But when I download the BIOS drivers on w119tx or an000, they both say "This bios update is not compatible with this device".

What should I do?  I want my battery gage to work properly because it is a new battery, and I need to decharge it to 5% and then re-charge it to full a few times to optimize its health.  Also, the BIOS does not have a lot of options and I think the newer bios might.

Is there a newer board for this case?  Can I upgrade my motherboard?  What options do I have?

Anyway, I just want a direct link to the download file for this motherboard.  According to Belarc Advisor, this is my motherboard:

HP 825F 82.67 bios

If I already have the latest version, at least please tell me if there is any way to cause this beautiful machine to tell Windows my battery levels?

Cheers~
