HP AC Power Control isn't grabbing the "Low Battery Level" setting

I have an HP 15-d089wm.
Its HP AC Power Control system isn't grabbing the "Low Battery Level" setting in the currently active PowerManager profile.

It always goes to 15% battery before running off the cord.

And not what the "Low Battery Level" is set to in the active PowerManager profile.
Is there some registry entry I can use to force the Power Control system to actually go down to what I've set?

I know the software for managing it is not what runs the HP AC Power Control system.

As it still runs at the specified "Peak Period" even with the software removed from the computer.

@GazbonicAcid Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to change the low battery level settings.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please open the control panel, click on the power option and click on Change advanced power settings and scroll and search for Low battery level and change the on battery percentage. As shown in the picture.

If the issue still persists, please perform the below steps:

Unplug the charger and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%. 

Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins. 

Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager: 
1) In the search box, type, and open “Device Manager”.  

2) Expand “Batteries”.  

3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.  

4) Click on “Uninstall”.  

5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver  

6) Shutdown the computer.  

7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in.  

😎 When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.  

9) Go to Device Manager.  

10) Expand Batteries.  

11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there. 

12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"  

Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.  

Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
