Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the factory supplied HP image on this laptop and as part of some troubleshooting I uninstalled some software including hp command center. I have reinstalled it and now it doesn't work. This is what I see on the system information page and the thermal profiles do not work. I only have 3 and not 4. I partitioned the drive and installed a fresh copy of windows 10 from microsoft and followed the same steps to install this software and it works perfectly fine.

Is there a service or other piece of software which is required for this to work which I may need to install? I have uninstalled and installed multiple timesHPCC.PNG

@mkr10001 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the HP Command Center doesn't work.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

I would suggets you reinstall the HP command center.

Thanks, I've done that now and there is nothing to run.

I installed the following application as well but it still isn't working

I understand your concerns.

Please run the SFC scan. you can refer to this Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker

Then try to install the application and check.

If the issue still persists, please try creating a new user account on your computer.

Go to http://hp.care/2dWJKgW  and follow the steps to create a new user account.

Thanks for that. Scan found no violations though and I have the same issue even on a new user account

I understand your concerns.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!

Thanks, I expect their answer will be to just reinstall. Which is an option but not what I was hoping for.
