Hey there.

My HP Coolsense has completely dissapeared from my computer and I have no idea why. At the moment this is really bad for me since it's Summer and it overheats 5+ times a day, whereas when I had coolsense last year, it never overheated. I was just wondering if there was a way to reinstall it? I've looked at other forums and they all say to use some kind of HP program and I have triend looking for this, but I haven't been able to find it.

Please help 😧

Hi,

Try the following.

Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'.  From the new layout, select Programs and Features.

Click on Turn Windows features on or off in the left hand pane.

When this window has loaded, enter a checkmark against .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) then click Ok and follow through the procedure to install this.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

When windows has fully reloaded, download the installer for HP CoolSense on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp67501-68000/sp67743.exe

When the download has completed, open your Downloads folder, right click the CoolSense installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.

If this completes Ok, restart the notebook.
