I have also downgraded to windows 7 on the exact same system after unsuccessfully attempting to install a working version of Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04. All the drivers that you have listed above work great except for the amd chipset driver for USB3, and i still need a pci controller driver, driver for hardware labled BCM43142A0, amd high def audio device, and I can't seem to find a driver for the touchscreen either. If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them. Or if you know of a way that I might be able to get back my windows 10? I no longer have the activation key. This laptop was given to me and the activation key is long gone. I would prefer a solution to the former, but i'll hear anything you got to say on this.
Thanks
Roboteer.

Hi:
See if these drivers work...
USB3:
This package provides the AMD USB 3.0 Driver for supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72680.exe
BCM43142A0:
This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver and software for supported models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 devices and is compatible with Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier versions.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72617.exe
Please tell me the exact name of the pci controller device, because there is no such thing.
It is either a PCI Device, or a PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller.

Hey,
I have tested the drivers that you posted in your response, and so far, the are working great.
Oh, and my bad, it is a PCI Device.
I believe one of the unknown devices might be the touchscreen, and I'm not sure about the other one yet. If you have any ideas, please share. These are the remaining pieces of hardware for which I'm struggling to find drivers.
Thanks again,
Roboteer.

You're very welcome.
You need this driver for the PCI Dev: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below.
Did you install the W7 amd graphics driver for your model? That would be the only reason I can think of as to why there is an AMD HD audio device listed there. That is for the HDMI audio which should have been installed by the graphics driver.
Your option as to whether you want the full package or the minimal setup package.

Unknown devices...there can be several devices labeled that way, so rather than play a guessing game as to what drivers you need, please post the hardware ID's for the 2 unknown devices.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID...

Unknown Device Hardware IDs:

*HPQ6007
ACPI\MSFT0101

The card reader software installed successfully according to the Realtek installer. But windows disagrees according to the pop-up from the task bar that lets you know a device drivers is being installed. The card reader works fine though! In the device manager, the PCI Device is still flagged with the yellow exclamation triangle, and if i manually try to associate the driver that I installed it gives me an error. I followed instructions on another thread for the hardware IDs and I'm going to attempt the hotfix from windows for the MSFT0101 after i finish this backup, but the instruction the PCI device Hardward ID didn't work according to windows but the card reader is recognizing an SD card.
For the HPQ6007 I could not find any drivers, and the links on other HP support threads that i get from a web search are not good.
Also for the AMD Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.4 and the minimal install for windows 7 i get an error in return from windows after the the installer progress bar finishes and the AMD software attempts to start. See below. But the resolution on my screen was improved on my first attempted installation and restart....
Incase anything else in the details window is useful:
Exception Code: c000001d
Exception Offset: 0000000000095c01

Thanks for your help thus far!!

You're very welcome.
If the display resolution is working and the amd HD audio device is gone from needing a driver, that is the best I can do for that.
I would just uninstall the software, or run msconfig and prevent that program from starting so you don't get the error.
ACPI\HPQ6007:
Receives notifications from the integrated accelerometer and automatically parks the hard drive to reduce the risk of damage if the PC is accidentally dropped.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77501-78000/sp77869.exe
ACPI\MSFT0101: I have zipped up and attached below, the Microsoft Hotfix you need to install the TPM 2.0 device in W7.
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1577:
This package provides the AMD IOMMU Driver for supported models that are running a supported operating system.
