Hoping this mention works. I had my operating system reset after some issues with my SSD, and forgot the name of the fan control app, which had been deleted. Looking it up, I saw a lot of people saying the app was Cool Sense, but was sure that wasn't the name. Saw some old posts by user nayosen looking for the same, and later found the name on Reddit.

 

The app is called ' HP Command Center ' for the HP ENVY 14 line. I have a 14-eb0000, and this is the app that matches the logo on the f12 key (assisgned hotkey). Here is the link- it may not have shown up in the Microsoft store if you aren't in the US or aren't using US English.
