HP Envy 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all. Firstly thanx in advance to all assistance. My issue is with my HP Envy 17 with Beats Audio, and running Adobe Premier Pro on it. It continuously shows an error message when I open the program, saying my Intel 4600 HD graphics card isn’t sufficient and I may experience less than optimal results. I have already ran all updates. Can I upgrade this card or will I have to purchase a completely new laptop..? Please help..

Sorry, but laptops, unlike desktops, do not have CARDS in them but instead, have video chips -- and except for the really expensive business models, those are not replaceable.

So, you can't just go out and buy a video card for your laptop.

IT is what it is.

Same error / problem - different HP model - (Desktop) HP ENVY: 700-430qe

 - using the latest version (2020) of premiere pro unfortunately slowed.   open gl or CUDA no longer working.  No way to upgrade/ the recommended driver install fails.
