After almost 2 months, we are facing the same problem...

 

It is unbelievable that HP allows this to happen.

My Windows 11 laptop (Envy 15-EP0142tx) was upgraded today to Command Center 1.11.58.0 and the Performance Control tab has been reactivated.  There was a separate HP driver update from Windows Update (unnamed component, version 1.63.3600.0) which may or may not have been related.

 

So far even on Default (for me always the quietest mode) the fans seems to be running more than previously.  But I can now use Performance mode.
